Quiet and peaceful location near the famous German Nature Reserve Luneburg Heath

Children are very welcome! The farm offers many possibilities to play. A gym can be used on rainy days.

You find the Drewes Farm in the quaint village of Ollsen, almost amidst the Nature Reserve Luneburg Heath.

The agricultural fields of the farm are under lease. Children may pet the cat strolling around the farm grounds.

4 “Roof-Only”-holiday homes

We offer our guests 4 very comfortable holiday homes. At a size of approx. 30m². Each has a very comfy living room with dinette, TV, DVD, CD-Player, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower/W.C.

Upstairs you find 2 bedrooms (with 2 beds each), a cot is also available. A settee offers an additional place to sleep in the living room. There is a carport, and you can lock away your bikes in our shed. No pets, please!

Washing machine and tumble dryer are available. The Drewes family also offer a daily “bread roll service“ for your breakfast, and they will do your first grocery shopping, if ordered in advance before your arrival.

Leisure and sports

You can relax on your own sheltered patio, equipped with garden furniture, sunshade, and barbecue tools.

Children have a wonderful time on the huge playground (swings, seesaw, slide, hammock, high bar, sandpit, table-tennis, huge trampoline). You can choose from a wide variety of bikes, free of charge.

You will love the surroundings: rolling hills, green fields, dense forests, and, of course, the purple or violet heather, the famous and typical plant of the Luneburg Heath! Explore on foot, by bike or on horseback! The beautiful village of Undeloh is just a 3.5 km ride away.

Ollsen offers you a very good restaurant, a playground and a soccer field at the rim of the forest.

The little town of Hanstedt is just 4 km away. Here you find supermarkets, chemists, doctors‘ practices, churches, cultural facilities, spas. There are tennis courts, riding facilities and a large (heated) outdoor swimming pool, situated beautifully amidst the forest. You will also find a net of very well signed Nordic Walking routes.

On the Holiday-farm Drewes at the end of Höllenweg in Hanstedt – Ollsen a human-being stands in the foreground, not their impairment, origin or religion. Here guests are not “labelled or pigeon-holed”. You have the space to be yourself. We know from our own experience what it is like if a family member is disabled or disadvantaged.

We speak English. Claudia is a fully trained tour guide in the Luneburg Heath, so she can offer lots of tips and recommendations. The farm is classified as a particularly child-friendly facility. Guests are welcome to help with on-site work, children can get a ride on the tractor, bake bread over the campfire or do craftwork with the hosts. Cordiality is very important; many regulars keep coming back.
